Collinsville, IL may be a small town, but there are many fun and interesting things to see and do when you're there. Whether you want to explore historic sites or spend the day racing, Collinsville has a lot to offer.

On Saturdays the night race takes over, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays there is a whole race day, on Sundays a night race. Every Tuesday Horse Hookey plays, where admission is reduced and food and drink is offered.

Collinsville is located in the American Bottoms and is the second largest city in Illinois with a population of about 1,500,000. It is also home to Fairmount Park Racetrack, the largest horse race track in North America. The main roads in and around Collinsville are: I-80, U.S. Route 66, Illinois Route 60, Interstate 75, I-70 and Interstate 80. Admission is free and will be on Saturday, June 4, from noon to 4 p.m. at Forest Park on Route 158 and Collins Street in Woodsville.
